About
71 Model is a cover band for hire in Canberra, ACT.
More than 100 party songs sit in 71 Model's working repertoire, and the titles tell the story: 9 to 5, Eagle Rock, April Sun in Cuba, Footloose, Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, Don't Dream It's Over. Australian classics carry a good share of the load. The Canberra band are known for tight musicianship and strong vocals, and for leaving crowds dancing and singing the words back at them. They cover pubs, weddings, corporate functions and private parties, ask for about 90 minutes to set up with a low volume soundcheck, and carry public liability insurance with every lead tagged and tested.

On the day
Allow ninety minutes from the moment they can get into the venue, which covers gear in, everything patched up and a quiet sound check that won't disturb guests arriving. Pack down takes another forty five minutes once the last song is done, so factor that into how long you have the room for.
