About
Storytelling Workshops is a business speaker for hire in Perth, WA.
Twenty published books, from adult novels through to children's titles, sit behind this half day workshop. The argument is simple enough: business writing goes flat because the person writing it knows the subject too well and has forgotten what it's like not to. Fiction writers deal with that problem daily, so the session teaches how they do it. Structuring information so people keep reading, finding a voice that earns trust, and editing hard. Runs about three and a half hours for groups of up to fifteen, at your premises or a venue you pick, across Perth metro and regional WA. Participants work on their own real documents and leave with a reference guide. Suits marketing and communications teams, legal and government staff, and anyone whose writing has to persuade.
The show
A practical half-day workshop for up to 15 people, held at your premises or a venue you choose, anywhere across Perth metro and regional WA. It runs in three parts. Structure comes first, an hour on narrative arc and why documents, pitches and presentations fall over without one, applied straight to a piece of the participant's own writing. Voice takes 45 minutes, looking at what an honest voice reads like and how corporate language quietly costs you trust. Editing for Impact closes it, an hour on the novelist's habit of making every word earn its place. Everyone works on their own real material and leaves with a reference guide.
