About
Kara Stokes is a business speaker for hire in Perth, WA.
Short talks, not long ones. Kara Stokes speaks on business leadership, creativity, entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, wellbeing and work-life balance, and the approach is built around the fact that most events run late and most audiences stop listening well before the speaker stops talking. Small stories get scattered through the session so the ideas land as something recognisable rather than theory. Before the day, Kara asks questions about your event, your goals and who's actually in the room, then builds the session from what you've said. A screen, projector and remote work if there are slides. A microphone alone is fine if there aren't. Based in Perth.

The show
Kara Stokes keeps it short, and that's deliberate. Events run late, audiences drift, and a long presentation is where both problems meet. Small stories get scattered through the session to earn a chuckle or a nod, so the ideas land as something people recognise from their own week rather than theory. Before the day there'll be questions: what the event is for, what you want out of it, and who you've actually got sitting in front of her. The session then gets built from your answers. If the audience has been sitting more than an hour, expect an invitation to stand and stretch first. It wakes people up and the message goes in better.
On the day
If there are slides, she'll want a screen, a projector and a remote. If there aren't, a microphone on its own does the job and you can leave the AV gear in the cupboard. Tell her which way your room is set up and she'll work to it.
Performance options
There's a software demonstration package that goes further than a talk. It runs about half an hour walking your audience through your software, and behind it sits an hour long video call about what you need, prep time getting properly familiar with the product, and slides built for the session. Travel across the Perth metro area is included.
