About

Duo AussieBela is an acrobatic act for hire in Port Stephens, NSW.

Danii and Sasha work as Duo AussieBela, and their range covers quick change, acrobatic adagio, hand balancing, cube spinning, aerial silk and aerial hoop, plus trampoline and tumbling. The quick change adagio act took a bronze medal at the Australian Circus Festival. Acts can be combined inside one show as long as there's time between them for costume changes, and they're happy to build to a theme. Rigging matters here, so talk it through early: the cube act wants four metres of height, adagio needs a stage no smaller than four by four, and the silk and hoop need a rig point. Based at Port Stephens, and they carry their own public liability.

Watch

The show

Danii and Sasha cover a lot of ground between them. Quick change, adagio, hand balancing and cube spinning on the floor, then aerial silk and hoop above it. There's real strength underneath the pretty version of it, and the mix of the two is what makes the act watchable for people who don't normally sit through circus. They're happy to build to a theme, so the costuming and the running order can be matched to what your event is about rather than dropped in as-is.

On the day

Space and height need sorting early because each act asks for something different. Quick change needs a private area to prepare in, a stage at least three metres high and no smaller than four by four. The cube act wants four metres of height and a five by five stage, though the square version can work under a 2.5 metre restriction. Adagio needs three to 3.5 metres of height and four by four on the floor. Aerial silk and hoop both need a rig point, 3.5 metres up for silk and 2.5 for hoop. Send through your venue dimensions with the enquiry.

Performance options

Acts get combined into one booking, which is usually the better way to do it. The award winning quick change adagio can carry one or two extra acts on top of it. Adagio works on its own too. Or pick individual pieces: cube, hand balancing, aerial silk, aerial hoop, each tailored to whatever theme you're running. Several acts can be performed within a single show as long as the running order leaves enough time between them for costume changes, so build a gap into your timings and it all works.
