Mat Dynon is a tribute show for hire in Bendigo, VIC.
Mat Dynon does the whole Rat Pack on his own. Big Band Show is a one man tribute built on full big band backing tracks, with Mat singing live over the top and changing costume between sets. Set one is Neil Diamond. Set two goes to Sinatra and the Rat Pack, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr included. Set three opens up to Tom Jones, Elvis and whoever else fits the night. Cabaret, swing and jazz crowds are the ones who get it. PA and lighting come with the act, sized for small to medium venues, so a stage area with power, a small table and somewhere to change is all it takes. Based in Bendigo.
The show
One man, singing live over full big band backing. Mat changes costume between sets, so the Neil Diamond half of the night looks nothing like the Rat Pack half, and the show shifts character each time he walks back on. It's built to entertain rather than to be admired quietly from a distance, which suits club rooms, cabaret nights and dinner functions. The voice is doing the work live, all of it.
On the day
PA and lighting come with the act, sized for small to medium rooms, so there's no sound hire to arrange. What's needed from you is a tidy stage area with power, a small table, and somewhere out of sight for costume changes between sets. That last one matters more here than for most acts, since the changes are part of the show.
