About
Apollo Strings is a string quartet for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Apollo Strings are a Sydney string quartet, and weddings are the bulk of their diary. Award nights, corporate functions, concerts and recitals fill the rest. Their playing covers more ground than you'd expect from four strings: upbeat world music, cool jazz, tango and Latin sit alongside the classical pieces. The line up flexes too, from the traditional quartet down to a guitar and violin duo. On wedding days they'll usually start about fifteen minutes before the bride walks, carry through the ceremony and into drinks. A civil ceremony tends to run under an hour, a religious service closer to an hour and a half. Got a song that matters to you? They'll arrange it.

The band were great! it was a very enjoyable evening with the venue, catering and company but having the band there and the wonderful songs they played took the whole event to a new level! Will definitely look to have them play at events we host in the future. Thank you so much for arranging everything and making it all so seamless.

We have nothing but positive comments regarding Apollo Strings. They were fantastic! They stuck to the run sheet and at the same time were flexible when we were running a little over. We would highly recommend them for any event in the future.
