About
Elvis Roberts is a singing impersonator for hire in Coolangatta, QLD.
Elvis is his actual birth name, which is a decent start. Elvis Roberts sticks strictly to the 50s, the rock and roll years, in replica clothing, rings and shoes. Hits and slow ballads, so there's something for fast dancing and something for slow. The show also works in speaking and vocals from Presley himself, which can be pointed at your occasion, a birthday message or whatever the night needs. Based at Coolangatta on the southern Gold Coast.
The show
Fifties rock and roll, start to finish. Elvis Roberts arrives in replica clothing, rings and shoes, and the resemblance is close enough that people do a double take. The set mixes the big hits with the slow ballads, so there is fast dancing in it and there is slow dancing in it. He speaks in character between songs too, in Presley's own voice, which is where the personal touches get slipped in. A happy birthday to the person of the moment, a word about the anniversary, whatever the occasion happens to be.
