Andy B is a singing impersonator for hire in Slacks Creek, QLD.
A 2017 trip to Sun Studio and Graceland settled the question. Andy B came home from Memphis, poured two decades of music industry experience into an Elvis show, and was soon competing at the Ultimate Elvis competition in Parkes. Tribute artist is the preferred term here, not impersonator: the aim is getting every song as close to the original as possible, right through to the 68 Comeback Special arrangements. Shows run a minimum of two hours, solo or as a duo, with plenty of audience participation, props to dress the room, and lights and staging supplied. Give it power and shelter from the weather, and the night heads back to the 50s, 60s and 70s.

The show
An energetic show with a lot of audience participation, aimed at getting the songs as close to the originals as possible rather than doing a loose impression. The idea is to take the room back to the 50s, 60s and 70s for a couple of hours and leave everyone wanting a bit more.
On the day
Power, and shelter from the weather. That's the lot. Lights and staging equipment come with the act, along with a pile of props used to dress the room and give it some atmosphere.
Performance options
Book it as a solo show, or as a duo. The duo version gives the show more dynamics, since there's a second player to bounce off.
