About
Troy Wilson is a singer-songwriter for hire in Frankston South, VIC.
Acoustic roots and blues on resonator guitars, played the way it was meant to sound. Troy Wilson writes his own songs and works through juke joint boogies from Melbourne, either solo or as a duo with Matthew White or Aaron Gillett on harmonica. The duo sets are where the fun comes in, with fingerpicking on one side and harmonica train impersonations on the other, and a fair bit of laughter between them. It's a twist on the juke joint tradition rather than a museum piece.
