About
Russell Morris is a singer-songwriter for hire in Victoria.
Russell Morris explores Australian stories through blues and roots music. Sharkmouth focused on characters from the country's urban past, while Van Diemen's Land turned to broader historical events. Red Dirt - Red Heart continued the series with stories of the interior. Produced with Mitch Cairns, the recordings include the ARIA-winning Sharkmouth, connecting Morris's singing with a particular strand of Australian songwriting.
