About
Spud Thompson is a singer-songwriter for hire in Rosebud, VIC.
Spud Thompson sings and plays a bit of everything, and the material moves accordingly: plain ballads and folk one moment, vintage rhythm and blues or electronica the next. Mostly original songs, though covers are no trouble. The act is based in rural Victoria between the beaches and the bush, and the setup is genuinely flexible. Full band with their own gear is the preference, but it can be stripped back to a trio, a duo, or one guitar and one voice if that's what the space wants.

Flexibility is the honest answer here. The preferred setup is the full band with their own equipment, so nothing has to be sourced at your end. But it strips back a long way when the space asks for it, right down to one acoustic guitar and one voice. Anything in between works too. Describe the room and the sort of night you have in mind when you enquire, and the right size gets picked from there.

Mostly Originals! But we are definitely capable of performing covers!
