Matthew keeps the booking side straightforward. He answers messages promptly and turns up when he said he would, which he'll tell you himself he cares about. On the day he's happy to play a long stretch, and the songbook is deep enough that a long night doesn't mean repeating himself.
On the day
Everything comes with him: speakers, microphone and stand, leads, and a loop pedal on some sets. He doesn't take up much room, and he's fully set up within 20 minutes of walking in, so a tight turnaround before guests arrive is not a problem.
