About
Conor Sneddon is a singer-songwriter for hire in Clyde North, VIC.
Conor Sneddon writes his own songs and plays them alongside covers, mostly on acoustic guitar. The originals sit in Ed Sheeran, Noah Kahan and Lewis Capaldi territory, honest and a bit heartfelt, and the covers pull from pop and rock. A recent set ran Moments and The Key of his own beside It Girl, My Happiness, Like I'm Gonna Lose You, Walking on Sunshine, Grade 8, Count on Me and Riptide, with a second set built around moving on. He takes requests and has a wider catalogue to draw from. Gear is sorted: mic, acoustic and electric guitars, Marshall amp and leads. Based at Clyde North, Victoria.
The show
Acoustic songs with some weight behind them. Conor Sneddon moves a set through excitement, heartache, love and energy rather than sitting in one mood the whole way, and the originals he writes are the honest sort. It works for a room where people are listening. He takes requests as well, and there's a wider catalogue behind the printed set list to draw from if something you want isn't on it.
On the day
He brings the lot. Microphone, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, a Marshall amp and a spread of leads, including a pedal that lets the mic and the guitar run through the same amplifier. So one power point and a corner to stand in covers it. That single amp setup is why he fits into small rooms where a full PA would be overkill.
