About
Calan Watts is a singer-songwriter for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Indie folk from Melbourne, with lyrics that tell stories over melodies built to last. Calan Watts writes about music and life without dressing it up, and the live shows come out warm and upbeat rather than solemn, which is not always how this genre goes. Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers and Johnny Cash are the touchstones. Melbourne based. Fits a room where people will actually hear the words, and it will not flatten the mood of one where they won't.
