About
Elysium is a rock band for hire in Cairns, QLD.
Grunge and punk out of Cairns, with a setlist split between originals and covers pulled straight from the 90s. ELYSIUM are young, loud and not much interested in the polite end of the room. They carry their own backline, so what they'll need from a venue is a PA, mixer, mics and leads. Good fit for a bar, a local gig or any party that would rather have a bit of teen angst than background music.
The show
Young rockers who mean it. ELYSIUM play with the kind of conviction that doesn't survive contact with too much polish, and it's the reason they work in a bar or at a party where background music would be a waste. Grunge and punk, originals sitting next to 90s covers. Loud, and unbothered about it.
On the day
Backline travels with the band. What they'll need from your side is speakers and a mixer, plus microphones for vocals, kit and guitars, mic leads and DIs. So a venue with a working PA is all it takes. If you haven't got one, say so when you enquire rather than on the day.
