About
Martin Pang is a pianist for hire.
Martin Pang plays keys across jazz, R&B, soul and funk, and the technique is precise enough that the joins between those styles disappear. He works as a session pianist, which is a job that rewards taste and restraint more than showing off, and it has him building smooth, soulful parts for other artists. Live, the playing gets more room to move. Musical instinct like this is not something you can rehearse into someone.
