About
Jeremiah Leo is a pianist for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Everything Jeremiah Leo plays is improvised on the spot. No set list, no rehearsed programme, just contemporary piano built live in response to the room, which means the music for your event has never existed before and won't again. It's written to sit underneath a celebration rather than compete with it: elegant, expressive, and quiet enough that people can still talk. Sets run from an hour for an arrival or cocktail moment up to five hours covering a whole evening. He'll play a keyboard, an upright, a baby grand or a grand. Brisbane based. Holds a blue card and a current police check.
The show
Nothing Jeremiah Leo plays at your event has been played before. He improvises the whole thing on the spot, contemporary piano built live in response to the room, which means there's no set list to approve and no rehearsed programme to sit through. The music is written to go underneath the celebration rather than over the top of it. Elegant and expressive, but quiet enough that guests can still hear each other across a table. Sets stretch from an hour for an arrival or cocktail moment up to five hours covering the whole evening. He'll play a keyboard, an upright, a baby grand or a grand, so the instrument in your venue is usually fine.
Performance options
Sets are booked by length, from one hour up to five. An hour suits an arrival, a cocktail moment or a single part of the day you want scored. Two hours covers a relaxed dinner or a longer reception set. Three is the common choice when you want background piano running through the evening. Four takes in most events including the breaks, and five covers a full night from the first guest to the last. All of it improvised live either way. Pick the length off your run sheet rather than guessing, and say which instrument the venue has when you enquire.
