About
Sonic Circle is a musical duo for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Twenty years and counting as an acoustic duo, and Sonic Circle have taken it from Adelaide cafes and bars to grand stages around the country, supporting national and international acts. Both of them sing, and harmony is the thing they most enjoy, which shapes how the songs get arranged. The catalogue is wide: Etta James, Michael Jackson, ABBA, Cold Chisel, Fleetwood Mac, Tina Turner, Adele, Tones and I, Cold beers and dance floors both covered. Requests are always welcome. They can add MC duties, and a third player on bongo and drums if you want more weight. Setup takes half an hour, though they turn up earlier, and they'll come the day before if that suits.

The show
Both of them sing, and harmonising is the part they enjoy most, so the arrangements are built around two voices rather than one plus backing. Twenty years as a duo covers a lot of ground: Etta James, ABBA, Cold Chisel, Fleetwood Mac, Tina Turner, Adele, Tones and I. Ceremonies, pubs, cafes and corporate nights all get handled. Requests are welcome. They'll take on MC duties too, and a third player on bongo and drums can join if you want more push behind the songs.
On the day
Half an hour is all the setting up takes, though they'd rather turn up an hour ahead and not be rushing. If your venue lets them in the day or night before, they'll come then instead and have everything standing ready, which is handy when the room is being flipped between a ceremony and a reception. Whatever time suits your schedule, they'll work to it.
Performance options
The duo is the base. From there it depends on how long you want music and how many sets that works out to, and there are shapes built for weddings, ceremonies and general celebrations. Extra musicians can join: piano, or a bongo and drums player to give the songs more drive. Give them your timings first, because that's what decides the rest.
