About
Sax On The Side is a musical duo for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Sony sings, Andrew plays saxophone, and between them Sax On The Side handle an afternoon at a winery about as well as a corporate function or a birthday. It's soulful music you can talk over with a glass in hand, but there's enough lift in it that shoes come off and people end up dancing. The repertoire covers jazz, early rock and roll, easy listening, 60s, 70s and 80s, soul and pop: Ain't No Sunshine, At Last, Fly Me to the Moon, Careless Whisper, Superstition, Son of a Preacher Man. Guitar, bass and drums can be added to make it a five piece. Adelaide based, and they just need access to power.

The show
Sony on vocals, Andrew on saxophone. Her singing and his playing together give a room its atmosphere without anyone having to raise their voice over it. Afternoons at wineries suit them, so do corporate functions and birthdays, and they pick material to match whatever the occasion is.
Performance options
The duo is the standard line up. Guitar, bass and drums can be added on top to make it a five piece band.
