Les PeppaCornz is a musical duo for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Dance covers from the seventies, eighties, nineties and beyond, played by an Adelaide duo who clearly grew up loving all of it. Les PeppaCornz have worked through rock and roll, funk and soul, and they keep a foundation in pop and dance, which is what most crowds want by the second hour. Jenstar sings, and she brings the energy that gets people off their chairs. There are a few originals in the set too. You can book the vocalist solo or the full duo, with keyboard filling the intervals so the room never goes quiet. They need about five by five metres of stage and power.
The show
Jenstar sings, and the genres shift to whatever you've asked for rather than a fixed set. Book the vocals on their own, or take the pair of them. Either way the keyboard keeps playing through the intervals, which means the gap between sets doesn't turn into a flat patch where people drift outside. Small detail, big difference to how a night holds together.
On the day
Five metres by five of stage space is what they ask for, and powerpoints at the performance spot. That's it. Check the measurement against your room before the day, because five by five is more than a corner and it's the sort of thing that gets discovered too late.
