About
Beyond Alice Music is a musical duo for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Dan and Kat have been reading rooms for over twenty years between them, and Beyond Alice is where that experience lands. An Adelaide acoustic covers duo built around corporate and wedding work, mixing pub classics with modern mashups. Four sets deep in the songbook: Hallelujah, Fields of Gold, Brown Eyed Girl, Dumb Things, Folsom Prison Blues, plus mash-ups like Shape of You into Rockabye. Laid back on stage, professional off it. If you want more weight behind the vocals, they can add a drummer and go out as a three piece. Fully insured for public liability.
The show
Dan and Kat have spent decades between them working out what a room wants, and it shows in how the set moves. Neither of them is precious about it. They are relaxed on stage, easy to deal with off it, and the songs shift according to whether people are eating, talking or already up dancing. That reading of a crowd is really what you are hiring. A corporate dinner and a wedding reception get very different nights from the same two musicians.
