About

Acoustic Echo is a musical duo for hire in Tea Tree Gully, SA.

Guitar, keyboard, electric bass, flute, blues harp and two voices, all played completely live with no backing tracks or drum machines. Kevin and Glen are multi-instrumentalists who've spent years together in bands covering jazz, rock, swing, soul and country, and it shows in the arrangements, which are properly crafted rather than strummed through. The core repertoire is the best of the 70s and 80s, Eagles, Queen, Creedence, Crowded House and Michael Jackson, carried by rich vocal harmonies. Book them as a duo, a trio or a full band, whichever suits the room. They need a power point and about three metres of space, and that's it.

The show

Nothing is on a backing track. Guitar, keyboard, electric bass, flute, blues harp and two voices, all played live, which is rarer in a duo than you'd think and audible straight away. Kevin and Glen have spent years in bands together across jazz, rock, swing, soul and country, so the arrangements are worked out properly rather than strummed at. The core of it is the best of the 70s and 80s, Eagles, Queen, Creedence, Crowded House, Michael Jackson, carried by harmony singing. Tell them the music you like and that's what you'll get.

On the day

A 240v power supply and a playing area of roughly three metres by two. Small footprint for the number of instruments involved, but the space is genuine, since bass, keys and guitar all need somewhere to sit without anyone reaching over anyone else.
