About
Tristan McLindon is a magician for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Magic and mentalism with the comedy left in. Tristan McLindon works Melbourne corporate events, weddings and birthday parties, moving between close-up work at tables and a stage show that builds to something bigger. The banter matters as much as the tricks. Guests who normally hate being picked on tend to relax quickly, which is half the job with roving magic. Bookings come as roving magic on its own, or roving followed by a stage set later in the night. Setup is minimal unless there's a stage performance, in which case a quick chat sorts the details. Insured for professional entertainment work.
Watch
The show
Two very different things happen depending on what you book. Close-up magic means Tristan at your tables, working inches from people's hands, with mentalism and a fair bit of comedy running through it. The stage show is the bigger version, built to land as a proper moment in the night and shaped around your event. Guests who normally hate being picked on tend to come around quickly, because the banter does as much work as the tricks.
On the day
Almost nothing, as long as it's roving magic. Book the stage performance and there are a few arrangements worth sorting first, which takes one short conversation before the day.
Performance options
Roving magic on its own is the straightforward booking, with Tristan working the room table by table. The other option keeps the roving and adds a stage performance later in the night, so the entertainment builds towards a show moment instead of staying at the tables all evening.
