About
David Lim Magic is a magician for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Close-up work at arm's length, or a full stage show, or both across one night. David Lim performs in Brisbane and shapes the set around the room he's walking into. Objects disappear, cards turn into other cards, thoughts get read back to people who swear they never said them out loud. The roving version moves table to table and puts the magic in the guests' own hands. The stage version pulls the whole room together at once, which suits kids' parties, corporate crowds and community events alike. It's interactive either way, and the laughs matter as much as the tricks.

The show
Magic that involves your guests rather than performing at them. David works close up, with the trick happening in someone's own hands, which is the version people talk about afterwards because they were holding the cards themselves. The stage show gathers the whole room instead, and it plays as well to a corporate crowd or a community event as it does to a kids' party. Interaction runs through both, and the laughs count as much as the moment the object vanishes. Either style can be booked on its own, or both across one night.
