About
Glen Rhodes is a magician for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Big roving magic is Glen Rhodes' specialty: tricks performed large enough that someone on the far side of the room can follow along, not just the huddle at the front. He works Brisbane events with interactive magic mixed with clean, fun comedy, and his emphasis is entertainment first, tricks second. There's a Comedy Magic Stage Show for a seated crowd, and a Mentalism Show for groups who'd rather have their minds read than watch card tricks. You can book one or combine both. Setup on your end is nothing at all. Just relax, in his words.

The show
The point is entertainment, not tricks. Plenty of magicians get that the wrong way round; Glen uses the magic and the comedy as a means to an end, which is a room full of people having a good time. He works large groups rather than a tight huddle, performing roving magic on a scale big enough that someone standing across the room can still follow what's happening. That builds a bit of anticipation and lifts the mood of the whole space. He wants people talking about it after he's gone.
