About
Rik Rushton is a keynote speaker for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Communication is the skill Rik Rushton thinks people quietly stop working on once they get promoted. He's a Melbourne keynote presenter, TEDx speaker and author who talks about human connection, leadership communication, emotional resilience and influence, and what all of that is worth in a working world reshaped by automation. More than 2,000 presentations sit behind him, to audiences totalling around a quarter of a million people. Rik also works as an MC and facilitator, and the format flexes to fit the room: a leadership team around a boardroom table, a training room, or a full conference stage. His own line for it is that he helps you master what technology can't replace.
The show
Rik works as a speaker, a facilitator, an MC and a host, and the booking usually settles into one of those before anything else gets decided. Scale is the other variable. A handful of managers around a boardroom table gets a different session to a training room full of staff, and both get something different again to a conference stage with several hundred people out in front. Tell him which of the three you are running and the shape of the session follows from that.
