About
The Jazz Associates is a jazz duo for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Trumpeter Antony Sutherland and pianist Michael Jenkins founded The Jazz Associates around a core pairing of trumpet and keys. The Melbourne ensemble can expand to five players, adapting its size for a cocktail function, wedding or corporate event. Classic standards sit alongside contemporary arrangements. The group offers both featured performances and quieter background sets, drawing on concert and private function experience to choose music that suits the setting and the role it needs to play.
