About
The Jazz Dogs is a jazz band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
A pack of snappily dressed hounds with a chunky tenor and fat baritone sax at the front, The Jazz Dogs play hip, groovy tunes while working the crowd as street theatre. Behind the costumes are some of Melbourne's better music and physical performers, which is why the act reads as funny rather than daggy. They've roved the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Australian Tennis Open, Melbourne arts festivals, shopping centre openings, pet expos, weddings and plenty of corporate work. The Jazz Dogs perform as a trio or a duo, and they suit both pet events and human ones.
