About
Agar Duo is a jazz duo for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Saxophone and guitar form the core of Agar Duo, with loops and effects adding layers around the two live instruments. Their music crosses jazz, funk and pop, using both acoustic and electric guitar with tenor or soprano sax. Performance credits include Melbourne bars, university events and winery appearances. The duo also plays weddings and smaller functions, where its combination of live playing and electronic textures offers a fuller sound than the instrumentation might suggest.
