About
Mark Anthony is a hypnotist for hire in Bundall, QLD.
Mark Anthony has spent more than two decades in stage and clinical hypnosis, headlining comedy hypnosis shows for major cruise lines and performing for some of the largest corporate companies in the world, along with university events, high school formals and venues in between. The show is fast paced, and the real trick is that your colleagues and friends become the stars of it. Nobody is ever forced on stage. Volunteers put their own hands up, and the fun starts once they're under. Shows run 45 to 90 minutes and can be pitched corporate, family friendly or a little cheeky. Around 40 people minimum makes it a show rather than a demonstration. For fundraisers, Mark gives back a percentage of his fee. Public liability insurance and a blue card are held.

The show
Your colleagues become the show. That's the whole shape of it. Mark Anthony has spent more than twenty years doing this, on cruise ship stages and in front of some very large companies, and the pace never lets up once volunteers are under. Nobody gets dragged up. Hands go up on their own, and what happens next is people you see every day behaving like they never do. Non-believers change their minds within about ten minutes. He'll pitch it corporate, family friendly or a bit cheeky depending on your room, and the whole thing runs 45 to 90 minutes.
On the day
A stage wide enough for eight to ten chairs side by side. Speakers sized to the room, at least two on the sides, plus one foldback so Mark Anthony can hear himself. One wireless handheld microphone, and a mixer taking the speakers, that microphone and an iPad input. He runs his own music from the stage, so a small table beside him is needed. Lighting should wash the audience rather than leave them dark, because half the show is watching each other. Simple as setups go.
