About
Tunes by Shanksy is a guitarist for hire in Mackay, QLD.
Francis Shanks fronts Gravel Rash, and Tunes by Shanksy is what he does on his own: solo acoustic, guitar and voice, across Mackay, the Whitsundays and the Coalfields. A frontman playing solo brings something different to a small room, because the instinct for holding a crowd is already there from the band work. Versatile with the material, and a familiar name to audiences across that part of Queensland.
