The show
The music tracks the night. Lachlan tends to open mellow, soulful background playing that lets people talk, then lifts into upbeat acoustic rock covers as the event finds its feet. He picks the blend to suit the occasion rather than running the same set everywhere. If you want it kept low the whole way through, that works too, but the natural arc is quiet to loud.
On the day
A power point is genuinely all he needs. If it's a long one out in the sun, some shade would be appreciated. He also carries a smaller battery operated PA for parks and other spots where there's no power at all, so an outdoor booking is straightforward. Allow him 45 minutes to an hour beforehand to set up.
Performance options
Bookings run in hours, and an hour means roughly 50 minutes of playing with a short break, with recorded music filling the gap so the room never goes flat. There's a separate rate for private events and one for corporate work. If there are a couple of songs you want that aren't already on his setlist, he'll learn them for you, so a first dance or a particular family favourite is doable with enough notice.
