Keegan Sparke is a folk singer for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Keegan Sparke picked up a guitar on the Northern Rivers of NSW and has spent twenty years since building a folky blues sound out of Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, Vance Joy and Bob Marley. His mates call him a one man band, and it's fair: guitar, harmonica, tambourine and cajon at once, with ukulele, djembe and charango in the kit too. He'll play it laid back, or bring in live looping and effects through a Bose L1 for something that pushes harder. Ben Harper, The Black Keys, Bill Withers and a decent run of Marley all sit in the repertoire. Ask him to turn it down and he genuinely won't mind. Needs a two by two and a half metre patch and power.

The show
Bluesy, folky, and adjusted to whatever your event actually needs. Keegan Sparke can sit in laid back mode with guitar, harmonica, tambourine and cajon going at once, or push it harder with live looping and effects running through a Bose L1 Pro 8. Ukulele, djembe and charango, a South American string instrument, come along too. He's genuinely relaxed about volume, so if guests are trying to talk over him, just say so and he'll pull it back. Then lift it again later when people want to dance. Reading a room is half the job and he does it without being asked.
On the day
A flat patch two metres by two and a half is enough for Keegan Sparke to lay everything out, and he needs a power point within reach of it. He supplies the PA and the instruments, so nothing else is on your list.
