DragonHeart is a fire performer for hire in Perth, WA.
A fire poi show, then fire breathing. DragonHeart works best after dark, when the flame is the only light on the scene and everybody stops talking. Perth based, taking weddings, parties and events, and also running circus workshops. The performance can go out in silence, with just the roar of the breath, or to music of your choice. There's a portable Bluetooth speaker on hand and any track can be downloaded before the show. Practical requirements are short: a couple of metres of space, no cover overhead, and room for the fuel canister setup.
The show
Fire poi first, then fire breathing. Simple as that, and it lands hardest after dark, when the flame is the only real light and everyone's face goes orange. That's the whole appeal. Daylight takes something away from it, so if you can put this late in the evening rather than early, do.
On the day
It has to be outdoors, or at least open above, since nothing can be performed under cover. Beyond that the footprint is small. A couple of metres of clear space is enough to work in, plus a bit of room off to the side for the fuel canister setup. Worth walking the spot beforehand and checking what's directly overhead, because that's the requirement people forget.
Performance options
Set-up happens wherever and whenever you'd like it, so the show can be slotted into the running order rather than dictating it. Music is optional. A portable Bluetooth speaker comes along and any track you want can be downloaded ahead of time. Or skip the music entirely and let the crowd hear the roar of the breath on its own, which honestly is the better version if your guests will stay quiet for it.
