About
Laser Tag in a Box is an event services business for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
You hire the box, you run the game. Laser Tag in a Box drops a complete kit at your Brisbane event with instructions simple enough that nobody needs prior experience to get playing within minutes. The standard box handles eight players at once, with sets of 12, 16 and 20 for bigger groups. Choose your game mode, from straight team battles to capture-style rounds. Indoors you want roughly 8m by 10m and low light so the sensors read well. Outdoors, flat and clear, and late afternoon is the sweet spot. The gear needs no power at all. Birthdays, team days, or a weekend with friends.

The show
You run this one yourself, and it's easier than that sounds. The kit arrives complete, with instructions plain enough that nobody needs to have done it before, and you'll be playing within minutes of opening the cases. The gear suits all ages and works indoors or out. Pick your game mode to match the day, from straight team battles through to capture the flag. If something comes up while you've got it, there's someone to call. At the end everything packs back into the cases it came in. It's a lot of running around for very little organising.
On the day
Space is the main one. Indoors, aim for at least eight metres by ten, and more is better. Outdoors, keep it flat, safe and clear of hazards, sharp objects, trip risks and low branches included. The equipment runs without electricity, so no power outlets needed. Low light gives the sensors the best read, so dim the room indoors, and outside late afternoon or early evening is the sweet spot. You'll want a person per team to referee and keep things flowing. And ask players not to run.
Performance options
The standard box runs eight players at once, which covers a typical birthday party. Bigger groups aren't a problem: there are sets of 12, 16 and 20 as well, so a whole class or a full team day can play together instead of taking turns.
