About
Elena Valerie Art is an event services business for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
While your ceremony is happening, Elena Valerie is already painting it. Oils, brush in hand, working live through the ceremony and reception so that by the end of the night you're holding a finished piece rather than waiting weeks for one. Guests tend to gather and watch, which makes it entertainment as much as art. Ten years of experience sit behind the work, and oil holds up in a way other mediums don't. This is something that gets passed down. The package centres on a 60 by 50 centimetre painting in a realistic style. Elena covers the Gold Coast, Brisbane and further afield, and needs a power plug for her light.
Watch
The show
She arrives early, sets up, and starts painting while the day is still happening. Oils, worked live right through the ceremony and the reception, so by the time the evening winds down you're looking at a finished piece instead of waiting weeks for one to turn up. Guests notice, and they tend to drift over and watch, which makes it part of the entertainment as much as it is artwork. Oil is the deliberate choice here, because it holds a richness other mediums lose and it lasts long enough to become the kind of thing that gets handed down. The package covers a 60 by 50 centimetre painting in a realistic style with the detail properly worked in, a shadow box frame in white or wood to protect it, up to seven hours of live painting on the day, and another ten hours of refinement afterwards.
On the day
One power plug is all that's needed, for the light. Painting well means seeing properly, and venue lighting changes a lot across an evening, so having her own light running keeps the colour honest right through.
Performance options
The painting itself is the thing you choose. Elena Valerie works in oils on canvas, and the size of that canvas is what shifts between one booking and the next, so it is worth saying early how big a piece you picture hanging afterwards. Tell her the venue, the timings and the room you want captured, and she will sort the rest out with you from there.
