About
Opal Essance is a drag performer for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Melbourne drag, heavy on the chaos. Opal Essance takes a microphone and turns a room into pandemonium, with a wicked sense of humour and a habit of walking the line between naughty and nice. Comedy first, camp throughout. Beyond the performance there's drag bingo, trivia and games built specifically for the event, which is handy when you've got a crowd that needs something to do rather than just something to watch. Hens parties, birthdays, corporate nights and festivals all suit. Setup is nothing at all. Opal brings her own microphone and speaker, so a space to stand is the whole requirement.

On the day
Almost nothing is asked of you. Opal arrives with her own microphone and speaker, plugs in, and is ready to go within a minute or two of walking through the door. All that is needed at your end is somewhere to stand and a power point. That makes her straightforward to drop into a function room, a bar, a backyard or a marquee without rearranging the layout first.
