Neon visuals run behind the set, so a projector or LED wall is part of the deal rather than an extra. Sets run 60 to 90 minutes, with longer festival versions that add stage design and MC work. Public liability cover, risk assessments and compliance paperwork can all go to your venue before the night.
The show
Rock 'n' roll classics rebuilt for a modern dance floor, which is a stranger idea on paper than it is in the room. Jailhouse Rock arrives as a dance remix. Shake, Rattle & Roll turns up as a club mix. Burning Love gets pulled somewhere near EDM, and the mashups land where nobody sees them coming. Neon visuals run behind the whole set, so it's something to look at as well as dance to. It works because everyone over forty knows the originals and everyone under thirty knows the beat, and both ends of the room end up on the floor at once.
On the day
A PA matched to the size of your venue, with subwoofers, since the low end is doing a lot of the work. Two powered monitors for the DJ booth. A table or booth at least a metre and a half wide. Two standard power supplies. The projector or LED wall isn't optional, because the visuals are half the show and the set looks bare without them. A venue lighting rig helps, and there's room for lasers, smoke or haze on top if you want the space to look bigger than it is.
Performance options
The standard set runs sixty to ninety minutes with the custom visuals behind it, and that's the right length for most parties and club bookings. The deluxe version extends the set and brings in themed lighting and MC interaction, so the night is hosted rather than just played. For festivals there's a full production option with proper stage design, branding and a longer runtime. Tell them the size of the stage and how long the slot is and the right one becomes obvious.
