About
AM is a DJ for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
The show
Every booking gets planned in advance so the room feels right from the first guests through to the last song. Expect professional presentation, clean transitions between tracks, and a DJ reading the floor and managing the energy live rather than working through a playlist. The sound and lighting are high quality, the setup is done properly, and he's reliable about turning up when he says he will. Every booking includes the DJ booth and controllers, Yamaha speaker systems, a wireless microphone, event lighting, smoke and fog effects where the venue allows, full setup and pack down, and backup equipment in case something misbehaves.
On the day
You provide the venue and the rest is handled. Suitable spots include community halls, nightclubs, sports and corporate clubs, taverns and bars, function rooms, private homes, and the venues people use for weddings and engagement parties. Outdoor events work too, as long as there's power. Two things to know up front: all equipment has to sit undercover whatever the forecast, and song requests need sorting before the day, because tracks have to be bought and downloaded first. Residential events have to comply with council noise rules, and finishing times shift depending on the venue and local legislation. Unsure if your place will work? Just ask.
Performance options
Bookings run by the hour, from one hour up to seven, and every package includes the DJ performance, sound system, lighting, setup and pack down, a music consultation, event planning help and travel within the service area. Engagement parties, corporate events, large scale functions and long distance travel are quoted separately.
