About

Premier DJs is a DJ for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.

Premier DJs run a team rather than a single booth, which matters on a Gold Coast Saturday when three weddings all want the same start time. Weddings, birthdays, corporate nights, festivals. They handle lighting as well as the music, and there's an online planning system you can log into any hour of the day to browse the music database and put your selections together before the event. Setup needs an hour in the room beforehand, easy access to power, and about four metres by two of clear floor. Good, professional DJ work at a fair rate is the whole pitch, and they don't dress it up beyond that.

The show

Booking here gets you a team rather than one person with a diary. That matters on a busy Gold Coast weekend, because a date isn't lost just because one DJ is already out. All types of events are covered, from weddings through to corporate nights and festivals, and the DJs are working professionals rather than a mate with a laptop. You'll also get the online planning system, where you can browse the music database and put your selections together whenever it suits you.

On the day

An hour in the room before your scheduled start is the minimum, so the gear is up and tested before guests walk in. Easy access to 240v power is the second thing. And a clear area of about four metres by two, which covers the booth, the speakers and the lighting stands with room to move behind them. If your venue has access restrictions or a late bump in window, say so when you enquire.

Performance options

One package covers most events: five hours with a professional DJ on the decks, lighting for the room, and a wireless microphone for speeches, the welcome and anything else that needs announcing. That length usually takes a reception from the first guests arriving through to the end of the dancing. Nights that run longer or wrap up early can be arranged, so mention the timings you have in mind.
