About
NikNat Entertainment is a DJ for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Weddings are the whole focus here, and NikNat Entertainment treat the day as a job that starts long before the music does. They like to meet couples at least three times beforehand, they arrive well before your guests, and they're the last to leave. Rather than sell you a package and ask you to fit your day around it, they sit down, listen to what you want and what you'd rather avoid, and build from there. The music library runs past 40,000 tracks. Their work has been recognised with the Bride's Choice award and ABIA Wedding DJ of the Year, plus a national nomination. They need three metres by one and a half near the dance floor, and power within five.
The show
Book them and the whole entertainment side of the day is theirs to worry about. They're the first to arrive, well ahead of your guests, and the last to leave. Before any of that they like to meet you at least three times, which sounds like a lot until you realise it means nothing gets discovered on the morning of the wedding. By the day itself you know each other, and that shows in how the night runs.
On the day
Everything they need comes with them. What they ask for is three metres wide by one and a half deep, ideally close to the dance floor so the DJ can read the room properly. And standard 240V power within five metres of that spot. Check both with your venue when you're locking in the floor plan.
Performance options
There aren't packages here, deliberately. Their view is that handing you a fixed list and asking you to shape your wedding around it gets the whole thing backwards. So instead they sit down, listen to what you want and just as importantly what you don't, and put together an offering that matches. You're building a wedding day, not ordering off a set menu.
