About
Jbarts is a DJ for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
JBART works Sunshine Coast clubs, weddings, corporate functions and private parties, reading the floor and mixing to keep it busy. Sound, lighting and DJ gear can all come along, or the in-house rig gets used instead. Beyond the decks, extras can be arranged: a live saxophone player over the set, or a videographer to cover the night. Away from the booth, JBART also runs an events company, building opportunities for emerging artists on the coast. Setup needs power and a covered two by two metre space, and takes 45 to 60 minutes, longer if the extras are in play.
The show
JBART watches the floor and mixes to suit it, which is a different job to playing a prepared list start to finish. Clubs, weddings, corporate nights and private parties are all on the CV, so the read changes with the crowd. Sound, lighting and DJ gear can come along if you need them, or the venue's own rig gets used. There's more available on top: a live saxophone player over the set, or a videographer to film the night. Setup happens on time and the night runs to the plan you agreed.
On the day
Power, and a covered space of roughly two metres by two. Allow 45 to 60 minutes for setup, or a bit more if you've added lighting, a saxophone player or a videographer to the night. JBART can bring the full rig, decks, sound system and lights, or plug into whatever the venue already runs.
Performance options
The standard option covers a DJ set of up to eight hours with decks, sound system and basic lighting, plus a music selection built around your crowd rather than a stock playlist. Step up and you get extended hours, a full professional setup including the booth, and more capable lighting, with a videographer or a live saxophone player available on top. And the custom option is exactly that, built around the event, whether it's a wedding, a corporate night, a large party or a venue booking. Extra performers and lighting upgrades slot into that one.
