About
DJ Woodduk is a DJ for hire in Cairns, QLD.
R&B, hip hop, reggae and island reggae Poly vibes, with old school 80s, 90s and Motown in the mix. That's the sound out of Cairns, and it's a genuinely different offering to the standard top 40 mobile setup. Also on the list: funk, disco, Caribbean, African and Indigenous music, country and pop. Custom playlists get built for the event, and the rig is sized to the venue rather than the other way round. Works parties, company events, pubs and clubs. Holds a PPCA licence and public liability insurance.
Watch
The show
The party doesn't stop for a rebuild between songs, and the music is broader than a standard mobile setup would give you. R&B, hip hop, reggae, island reggae and Poly vibes, with old school 80s, 90s and Motown running through it. Playlists get put together for your event rather than reused. And the rig gets sized to your venue, so a small function room and a big Cairns hall each get what they need.
On the day
Setup time depends on which package you go with and what the venue allows, so it's worth sorting the details early. He'll work it out with you once he knows the room.
