About
Dannyb is a DJ for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Brisbane Broncos events, Nova FM, B105. That's the sort of client list behind Dannyb, and it shapes how the night is programmed: arrivals and formalities kept low and easy, then a lift into dancing when the room is ready. Music gets chosen for who's actually in front of the decks, not a fixed playlist, and levels are watched all evening so people can still hear each other over dinner. Nightclubs, weddings, gala dinners, corporate functions and large-scale events are all familiar ground. Sound, lighting, wireless mics for speeches, uplighting, screens, stage and lectern hire and cold spark effects can come with the booking through the SEQ Entertainment team. MC work too. Public liability cover.
The show
The night gets programmed in stages rather than played as one long block. Arrivals and formalities stay relaxed and at a level where people can hear each other talk, then the energy lifts into dancing when the room is ready for it, not before. Music is picked for who's actually in front of the decks, taking in the age of the crowd and the feel of the venue, and Dannyb shifts direction on the spot when the floor calls for it. Corporate functions, gala dinners, weddings, nightclubs and big one-off events are all familiar ground.
On the day
It varies with the event and the production you've chosen. Most bookings need standard 10 amp power, safe access to get the gear in, and a performance area protected from the weather. Sound, lighting and event production can be supplied where you need it. Where an event runs long, or dinner is being served, a crew meal and some bottled water go a long way. Where weather turns genuinely unsafe, the performance may be paused or packed down to protect people and equipment.
Performance options
Everything is put together for the specific room, audience size and style of event, and the focus is on properly produced events rather than a bare-bones DJ booking. What can go in: DJ entertainment, premium sound, intelligent and dance floor lighting, wireless mics and formalities audio, uplighting and room theming, stage and lectern hire, big screens and visual production, cold spark and other special effects, ceremony audio for weddings, and corporate AV with presentation support.
