About
Danfantastic is a DJ for hire in Wynnum, QLD.
Open format means DANFANTASTIC doesn't lock into one genre. The set runs from 60s classics through to whatever's charting now, and it moves with the room rather than a fixed plan. Guests send requests through a QR code, both before the event and on the night, so the soundtrack builds itself out of songs people actually want. If you'd rather stay in one lane, say so and that's what you'll get. Arrives on time with PA, lights and a smoke machine. Based at Wynnum in Brisbane. Needs two standard power points, roughly three metres by two of clear level space, safe access for gear, close parking, and cover from sun or rain for anything outdoors. Public liability insurance and a blue card for working with children.
The show
DANFANTASTIC turns up on time with a PA, lights and a smoke machine, which is enough to turn an ordinary room into somewhere people will dance. Open format means the set isn't locked to a genre: 60s classics through to what's charting now, moving with whoever is on the floor. Want it kept to one style instead? Say so and that's what you'll get. Guests can send song requests by QR code before the night and during it, and the music gets talked through with you in advance. School discos, formals, graduations, weddings, corporate functions, private parties, venue sets and the occasional bush rave.
On the day
Two standard 240V outlets near where the gear goes. Roughly 3m by 2m of clear, level ground for decks, speakers and lighting. Loading in has to be safe and straightforward, so ramps or a lift if there are stairs involved, and parking close enough to unload without hauling gear across a car park. Outdoors, you'll need a marquee or a sheltered spot to keep sun and rain off the equipment.
