About
Atomic Beats Entertainment is a DJ for hire in Ningi, QLD.
Atomic Beats Entertainment came out of a straightforward love of music, and it shows in how they plan. Wedding bookings get an in-home consultation to work through the playlist, and party bookings get a consultation too, so nobody is guessing on the day. Alongside the DJ work there's a portable photo booth that sets up in minutes, with props, an attendant where possible and a keepsake album of the night's photos, and a karaoke package that can stand alone or run with the DJ. They service the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. All their own equipment, they arrive early to test everything, and they don't charge for set-up, pull down or travel. They need about 2.6m by 2.6m and power within ten metres.
The show
Music gets planned before the day, not guessed at. Wedding bookings come with an in-home consultation to talk through what you want played, and party bookings get a consultation too. On the night you might have the DJ, or the photo booth, or the karaoke rig, or all three running together. The booth goes up in a few minutes and comes with props, an attendant where one can be there, and a keepsake album of the photos. The karaoke machine holds thousands of songs, including songs in a few different languages, with microphones, speakers, a flat screen and DJ lights supplied. If your venue has a big projector screen, that can be plugged into so the whole room follows the lyrics.
On the day
Everything comes with them, and they turn up early so there's time to set up and test properly rather than rushing it. Set-up, pull down and travel time aren't charged. For the DJ, the photo booth or the karaoke, the usual ask is a space of around 2.6m x 2.6m and a power point within 10 metres of it.
Performance options
Three things sit under one booking here. There is the DJ service, with a consultation beforehand to work through the playlist, an in-home one for weddings. There is a portable photo booth that goes up in minutes, comes with props, an attendant where they can supply one, and a keepsake album of the photos taken across the night. And there is karaoke, which either runs on its own or sits alongside the DJ set. Take one, take two, take all three. Combining them in a single booking is common enough that it is worth asking about when you enquire.
