About
Joanna is a dancer for hire in Perth, WA.
Joanna holds three Australian and three international pole titles, and was a finalist on Australia's Got Talent. Recent work includes performing alongside Rhonda Burchmore in Cabaret de Paris and an original cast spot in the touring circus show Infamous. She travels with her own portable stage pole, or the lollipop Lyra, which is a pole with a circus hoop mounted on top. A fly pole act is in development. The show runs to a maximum of five minutes and the music can be swapped to suit your theme. Practical needs: easy access to get the pole in, close parking or a loading zone, at least four square metres of floor and a ceiling higher than three metres. Perth based.
Watch
The show
One show, capped at five minutes, on either the stage pole or the lollipop. Short and deliberately so: it lands as a feature moment in a night rather than a set you have to programme around. The music underneath can be swapped for something that matches your theme, so a themed party or a branded corporate night doesn't end up with a generic track over the top of it.
On the day
The pole has to physically get into the venue, so easy access matters, along with close parking or a loading zone to unload it. On the floor she needs at least four square metres clear. The pole stands three metres tall, which makes ceiling height the make or break number: anything under that and the act cannot go up. Measure before you book.
