About
First Class Podium Dancers is a dance act for hire in Perth, WA.
Perth's original podium dancers, working the nightclub floors for 17 years. First Class covers podium and gogo dancers, Disco Ball Divas, showgirls, ring girls and roving entertainers, plus the dance floor hypers who exist purely to get your guests up and moving. The wardrobe is deep, so a theme night or a specific era is straightforward. The client list reads like a map of Perth nightlife: the Hip-E Club, Library Night Club and Paramount, along with regular nights at Flirt, Hustle, What If Fridays, Kahuna Lounge, Swishh, Adria and a run of Bollywood events. Two things are needed on the night. A private green room for costume changes, and a security guard to supervise and escort the dancers through the venue. All performers hold public liability insurance.
The show
Seventeen years working Perth clubs is the useful bit here, because it means the dancers know how to read a floor. The wardrobe covers old school through to current, so a theme or a specific era isn't a problem. Podium and gogo dancers, showgirls, ring girls, roving performers and dance floor hypers whose whole job is getting your guests up. Bookings start at two hours for podium dancers and one hour for roving. It isn't club-only work either. Bridal showers and birthdays come through regularly, and the costumes suit family friendly and underage events. Adult entertainment is not offered.
On the day
Two things from the venue. A private green room or change room, since the costumes get swapped during the booking. And a professional security guard on duty for the whole performance, supervising and escorting the dancers when they move through the venue. Patrons don't touch or harass the performers, and the guard is how that gets enforced.
