About
WTF is a cover band for hire in Shepparton, VIC.
WTF play covers with a rock edge, four pieces out of Shepparton, and the songs are the ones people already know: Mr Brightside, Highway to Hell, Uptown Funk, Wonderwall, Riptide, Teenage Dirtbag, Thunderstruck. A typical booking is three hours of live music including breaks, and they'll stretch that if your night runs longer. Weddings, pubs, birthdays, deb balls, Christmas breakups. The PA scales up for an outdoor venue, and both the sound rig and the set list get shaped around the room rather than played the same way everywhere. They ask for two hours to set up and sound check. Questions are welcome beforehand, the more they know about the venue the better the night goes.
The show
Four pieces, and the standard booking is at least three hours of live music with breaks counted in. If your night runs longer than that, say so and they'll build something that covers it. Between them there are years of functions and venues behind the band, and the songs are the well-known ones played with a punchy rock edge, which is what gets people up. Both the sound gear and the set list get matched to your particular room and event, so ask as many questions as you like beforehand. The more they know about the venue, the better the night comes out.
On the day
Give the band at least two hours before the music is due to start. That covers getting the gear inside, setting it all up and running a proper sound check, so the first song sounds the way the last one will rather than being the one they fix the levels on.
Performance options
The core booking is the full four piece band for three hours, with a PA sized for up to 200 guests, a small automated light show, a wireless microphone for speeches and announcements, and background music through the breaks.
