BigCityBeat is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Five piece or full 17 piece show band, BigCityBeat scale to fit the budget and the room. The Melbourne group play Top 40 covers and classic party favourites, and for something bigger there are fully costumed productions: an 80s show, a 90s show, a choreographed Megastars show and a Bruno Mars show. Dinner sets are covered too, with a jazz, swing and big band bracket built on Bublé, Sinatra and Shirley Bassey. Jewish music sits in the repertoire as well. They've a long standing industry reputation as a reliable bet for corporate events and weddings, and a percussionist can join the deluxe show band to make it eleven on stage.
Watch
The show
Pick the line-up to suit the night. Some events want one of the costumed showcase shows, others just want a party band in sharp corporate dress, and BigCityBeat do both. Each line-up has its own character, and the energy doesn't drop as the numbers do. There's also an 11 piece deluxe show band, which is the show band plus a percussionist, and that's available for any of the costumed shows as well as the Top 40 one.
On the day
Technical riders are available for every line-up. Ask for the one that matches the size you're booking, because a five piece and a 17 piece are very different propositions for a venue.
Performance options
Line-ups run 5, 7, 8, 10 and 17 piece. On top of that there are the shows: Top 40 and party classics, plus fully costumed 70s, 80s, 90s, Megastars and Bruno Mars productions.
